Operation Yuletide

Operation Yuletide is the Fayetteville Police Foundation’s annual holiday initiative dedicated to showing appreciation for every member of the Fayetteville Police Department. Throughout the holiday season, the Foundation provides meals, children’s books, family gifts, tokens of appreciation, and thoughtful surprises to officers and professional staff alike.

From sworn officers to civilian employees, every member of the department is recognized as an important part of the Fayetteville Police family.

Why We Host It

The holiday season is a time for gratitude, generosity, and reflection. Operation Yuletide exists to ensure every member of the Fayetteville Police Department knows they are appreciated—not only for the work they do, but for the sacrifices they and their families make throughout the year.

Whether serving on patrol, answering emergency calls, supporting investigations, or working behind the scenes, every employee contributes to the department’s mission. Through simple but meaningful gestures, Operation Yuletide reminds each person that they are valued, remembered, and supported by both the Foundation and the community they serve.
