8th Annual Trunk or Treat

Trunk or Treat is one of the Fayetteville Police Department’s signature family events, bringing together officers, their families, community organizations, and local businesses for an evening of safe Halloween fun. Children enjoy trick-or-treating from creatively decorated police vehicles, department displays, and community partner booths while families connect in a welcoming environment.
The event also features friendly competition among department divisions and community partners as they compete for the most creative and festive display, creating an atmosphere filled with teamwork, laughter, and community spirit.
Why We Host It
Trunk or Treat is about more than Halloween—it’s about building relationships. By creating a safe, family-centered event, we provide officers and their families an opportunity to enjoy quality time together while strengthening the bonds between the Fayetteville Police Department and the community it serves.
The event encourages collaboration among department personnel, showcases the creativity and personality of our officers, and creates positive interactions between law enforcement and the citizens of Fayetteville. Through shared experiences and lasting memories, we continue building trust, camaraderie, and a stronger sense of community.
