Field of Blue Flags – May 12th – June 12th

Do you have a special police officer or police department employee in your life? Want to express gratitude for their dedication and sacrifices? Whether it’s a 911 operator who kept you calm in a crisis or an officer who made a difference in your neighborhood, now is your chance to show your appreciation.

Sponsor a Blue Line Flag in their honor! If you don’t have a specific person in mind, we can select a deserving honoree for you.

Each flag will include a personalized tag displaying the honoree’s name, the sponsor’s name, and your message of appreciation. The flags will be proudly displayed in the Field of Blue in front of BJ’s Wholesale Club (5200 Red Tip Road) from May 12 – June 12, 2025. Afterward, each honoree will receive their flag as a lasting token of gratitude.

Cost: $35 per flag

Jail N’ Bail Farewell for Chief

Help “JAIL” Chief Braden – For a Good Cause!

After nearly 30 years of dedicated service, Chief Braden is hanging up his badge and retiring on March 31st. But before he goes, we have one last assignment for him – getting arrested for charity!

On March 14th, Chief Braden will be “jailed” in front of City Hall from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM to raise funds for the Fayetteville Police Foundation. However, once he is arrested, he can “bail” himself out if he raises matching funds so let’s keep adding to his “jailed” amount! You can also get your photo taken with him and sign a card thanking him for everything he has done for this community.

Tuesday, May 14th – Feeding the Police Department Mission BBQ
Wednesday, May 15th – Back the Blue Night 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm at different locations
Thursday, May 16h – Pastries/Doughnuts to all precincts
Friday, May 17th – Laying of the Wreath/Prayer for the Department 12:30 pm in front of the Police Department
Saturday, May 18th – Annual Police Ball – 7:00 pm Crown Coliseum
