The Retiree Breakfast is a gathering that brings together current and retired members of the Fayetteville Police Department to celebrate a shared commitment to public service. Over breakfast and conversation, officers from different generations reconnect, share experiences, and continue the bonds that have always defined the law enforcement profession. The event honors those who have dedicated their careers to protecting Fayetteville while creating opportunities for fellowship, mentorship, and meaningful connections between current officers and those who came before them.

Why We Host It

A police career doesn’t end when an officer retires—it becomes part of a lifelong family. The Fayetteville Police Foundation believes the experience, wisdom, and perspective of retired officers are invaluable resources for today’s department. The Retiree Breakfast preserves those connections by creating an environment where stories are shared, friendships are renewed, and mentorship naturally develops. It strengthens the sense of community across generations of officers, honors the legacy of those who served before us, and reminds every officer that they remain a valued part of the Fayetteville Police family long after they have hung up the badge.
